This is a 10-day trip that includes safari activities at Kilimanjaro, Lake Manyara, Arusha and Serengeti.
Itinerary
Arrival in Arusha Arrive at Arusha’s Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your customer service representative. Transfer to Arusha situated at the foot of Mount Meru for check in at your hotel in the city’s outskirts, nestled against one of the most majestic backdrops of the picturesque Mount Meru, sister peak to Africa's highest summit, Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner (not included) can be taken at the hotel. Overnight at Four Points Arusha Hotel (or similar)
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park-then to Ngorongoro Crater After breakfast, depart and drive to Lake Manyara National Park Lake Manyara National Park: Located in the northern part of Tanzania, Lake Manyara National Park is 126 kilometers west of Arusha Town. The park is sized 330 square kilometers of which 220 sq. kilometers form a lake when the water levels become high in the rainy season. The park has an area of 648.7 km2 (402 sq. miles) of which 262.7 km2 (163 sq. miles) is covered by lake and 386 km2 (240 sq. miles) is dry land. The park delivered its name from a plant called Euphorbia tirucalli, known as Emanyara in Maasai language. The Maasai people use this plant to protect their bomas (hedge) The game in Lake Manyara includes plenty of elephants, wildebeest along with so many giraffes, buffalo, zebras, impala, warthog and waterbuck. On the slopes of the escarpment, you may need to search a little hard for the tinny and renowned shy kirk’s dik dik and klipspringer. The park is a good habitat for lions. Lake Manyara’s healthy lion family that are popular for their tree climbing character Enjoy game drives in Lake Manyara National Park (packed/box lunch will be provided to maximise game viewing time) Exit the park in the late afternoon and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area often referred to as ‘the eighth wonder of the world’ the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best-known wildlife arenas. Dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge (or similar)
Safari in Ngorongoro After an early breakfast, descent into Ngorongoro Crater Ngorongoro Crater is often referred to as ‘the eighth wonder of the world’ the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best-known wildlife arenas. A World Heritage Site, it is also one of the largest volcanic craters in the world (almost 20 kilometres wide, 610-760 metres deep and covering a total area of 264 square kilometres). An utterly unique biosphere, the Crater harbours grasslands, swamps, forests, saltpans, a fresh water lake and a glorious variety of birdlife, all enclosed within its towering walls. Drive straight down the crater which offers one of the finest locations of all the crater-rim lodges, lying on its southern rim directly above the yellow fever trees of the Lerai Forest. Enjoy game drives, with picnic lunch on the crater floor, until later afternoon when you ascend and drive back to the overnight lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge (or similar)
Drive to the Serengeti National Park-Ndutu/Southern Serengeti After breakfast depart and driving via the Olduvai Gorge, one of the World’s most important Palaeolithic sites. Proceed to Southern Serengeti to check in for lunch at Nyikani Chaka Camp (or similar) Southern Serengeti (Ndutu Area) in December to March is the centre stage of the Migration, and is the best location to experience the greater migration. Our base in Southern Serengeti is Nyikani Chaka Camp: Chaka has learned from its surroundings and discovered a way to exist harmoniously within it. The camp moves seasonally to keep near the Great Migration and therefore remains surrounded by life. Guests have the opportunity to safely enjoy watching their mammalian neighbors graze the grounds and trees wrapped around the tent's boundaries. From December to March the camps is located in Southern Serengeti/Ndutu Region. Whereas its construction is mobile, Chaka offers modern comforts with luxurious accents. Serengeti National Park: Covering 14,763 sq. km of endlessly rolling savannah plains, the Serengeti is Tanzania’s first-established, largest and most famous park wherein tens of thousands of hoofed animals roam in a constant and unremitting search for the fresh grasslands upon which their survival depends. The million-plus wildebeest are the predominant herbivore and also the main prey of a huge cast of large carnivores, principally lion and hyena. Whilst the annual migration is the Serengeti’s most famous attraction, the Park is also renowned for its lion, many of which have been fitted with radio-transmitter collars so that their movements may be tracked, and additionally for its wealth of cheetah, zebra, giraffe, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelle, eland, impala, klipspringer, hippo and warthog. On safari in South Serengeti Spend the full day on safari in one of the world’s most famous reserves. The Serengeti, whose Maasai name ‘Siringet’ translates as ‘the endless plains’, offers unparalleled ornithological opportunities and an unrivalled natural arena wherein the glory and harmony of nature can be appreciated as nowhere else on earth. Drive to Serengeti National Park-Central After breakfast depart and drive to Central Serengeti (Seronera Area) to check in for lunch at Kiota Camp (or similar camp) Kiota Camp: Perched on a hilltop, Kiota Camp offers a bird’s eye view of the Seronera River Valley's abundance. Birds play have an important part in Kiota's design and atmosphere. Hand-painted lilac-breasted rollers decorate the bed covers and every side table holds an ornithology reference and a pair of binoculars. With only eleven tents, the camp maintains a quiet presence within the surrounding woodlands and grasslands. The Seronera airstrip is only twenty minutes away, and many of the most famous landscape features and game concentrations can be almost immediately accessed. Thereafter enjoy an afternoon game drive until sunset time to return for dinner and overnight at Nyikani Kiota Camp (or similar)

Fly from Serengeti to Kilimanjaro and departure After breakfast, you will be transferred to the local airstrip for a scheduled domestic flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport (flight included) where you will connect to your onward international flight
